Shannon Brown dunks on Laker teammate Josh Powell

 byOly Sandor
Two nights ago, he hit us with another one. Los Angeles Lakers guard Shannon Brown took his highlight reel jams to another level when he 'posterized' Josh Powell in a recent game verses the Dallas Mavericks. Of course, Powell also dons the purple-and-gold of the Lakers. Even teammates can't avoid Brown’s aerial antics, so the back-up center became an unintentional victim - or collateral (...).

More Problems for the Chicago Bulls

 byJohn Nguyen
Tyrus Thomas, who is sometimes heralded as the next Shawn Kemp (hopefully without the over abundance of kids), was handling out Morton’s Salt. When it rains, it pours. Kemp was usually raining down dunks in Seattle during the 1990s. Tyrus was found throughout the 2009 preseason pouring salt in the papers. What was he salty about? He was bitter about not being the starter in an (...).

Breaking down LeBron James and Cleveland’s early stumbles with Shaq

 byOly Sandor
There is no reason to panic, but there is reason for concern. After getting upset by the Orlando Magic in the Eastern Conference Finals, the Cleveland Cavaliers opted against tweaking the chemistry of a squad that won a league-best 66 games in 2009. Instead, they went for The ‘Big Change’. Literally. During the summer, Cleveland GM Danny Ferry called former teammate Steve Kerr, (...).

The Boston Celtics need Glen Davis, not Big Baby

 byOly Sandor
Yes, alcohol was involved. And yes, surgery was required, which will keep the third-year man out a minimum of six weeks. Now the Celtics must determine what to do with Davis. In the short-term, Coach Doc Rivers has to replace Davis, a valuable reserve. Unlike last year, superstar Kevin Garnett is healthy, while Kendrick Perkins will continue developing into a solid five-man. Of course, (...).

Is Kenny Dobbs Even Human? One Ponytailed Young Man Performs Several Never-before-Seen Dunks

 byC.Y. Ellis
Not that I like to judge folks on appearances, but if you were to send me into a gym and tell me that therein was one of the nicest dunkers I'd ever seen, the last person I'd pick out would be the slight, pencil-bearded ponytail in the washed-out wifebeater. That, oddly, serves as a first-glance description of Kenny Dobbs, father of some of the finest above-the-rim efforts ever committed to (...).

Khloé Kardashian's blog, which is usually home to abstract philosophical treatises and a continuing exposition of her plan to alleviate the global economic recession, instead featured something a little more lighthearted today.
