George Washington coach McKeown receives extension 06.17.2005

McKeown has compiled a record of 363-134 in 16 seasons at George Washington, including a 23-9 mark during the 2004-05 campaign. He is the winningest coach in the history of the women’s program and has guided the Colonials to 12 NCAA Tournament appearances.
"We are very happy that coach McKeown has signed a contract extension here at George Washington," said director of athletics Jack Kvancz. "He is one of the most respected and accomplished women’s basketball coaches in the game."
Prior to his arrival at George Washington, McKeown spent three years as the head coach at New Mexico State.
