(Basketball News) - Yao Ming had a huge fourth quarter to lead the Houston Rockets to a 85-83 win over the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night at the Toyota Center.
Yao had 23 points and 11 rebounds to help the Rockets win for the third time in four games. He had 15 points in the fourth quarter, including 10 straight at one point.
Steve Francis also scored 23 points for Houston, while Jim Jackson chipped in 11 points in the win.
Houston has won nine of the previous 11 meetings with Golden State. The Rockets have dominated the series even further back, taking 35 of the last 42 matchups with the Warriors
The Rockets are off until Friday when they begin a five-game road trip in Portland against Rasheed Wallace and the Trail Blazers.
