Sting name Muggsy Bogues head coach

Charlotte, NC (Basketball News) - The Charlotte Sting named former NBA player Muggsy Bogues head coach on Wednesday. Bogues replaces Trudi Lacey, who will remain as the team’s general manager.

Charlotte has the WNBA’s worst record at 3-21.

The 5’3" Bogues played collegiately at Wake Forest and then with the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets.
