DePaul gives extension to women’s basketball coach

Bruno has compiled a 322-205 record in 18 seasons at the helm of his alma mater, guiding the team to nine NCAA Tournament appearances.
He has led the Blue Demons to the field of 64 the last two seasons with a 45-17 record over that span. DePaul heads into the 2004-05 campaign as the 20th-ranked team in the nation.
"We are proud of what we have achieved so far at DePaul," Bruno said. "We also know the job is not finished. We look forward to continuing to pound away at moving DePaul up the women’s college basketball food chain."
