Norman, OK (Basketball News) - Jarrius Jackson scored a career-high 32 points and Devonne Giles added 17 to lead Texas Tech over No. 14 Oklahoma, 88-81, at the Noble Center.
Ronald Ross contributed 14 for the Red Raiders (14-5, 6-2 Big 12), who have won six of their last seven games.
Taj Gray scored 20 points and grabbed 15 rebounds for Oklahoma (17-4, 6-2), which has lost two of its last three games. Lawrence McKenzie had 16 for the Sooners, who had their 14-game home winning streak snapped.
Jackson had 19 points in the first half to help the Red Raiders build a 38-29 lead at halftime.
The Red Raiders maintained a double-digit lead through most of the second half, but Drew Lavender hit a jumper to pull the Sooners within six, 84-78, with less than a minute to go.
Jackson and Martin Zeno each hit two free throws down the stretch to seal the victory.
Tech used an eight-point run early to take control and held on for the 11- point halftime lead.
The Sooners went nearly seven minutes without a field goal, but stayed in the game by going 8-for-12 from the free throw line in the opening half.
