Sacramento, CA (Basketball News) - Cuttino Mobley, Corliss Williamson and Darius Songaila led eight Sacramento scorers in double-digits with 19 points apiece, and the Kings beat Phoenix 132-107 in the final game of the regular season.
Both teams had already sealed their Western Conference playoff fate. No. 1 Phoenix will begin its series with Memphis on Sunday, while sixth-seeded Sacramento visits Seattle on Saturday — so the game was little more than a scoring exhibition.
Sacramento shot 52 percent from the field, making 51 its whopping 98 shot attempts — including 12-of-24 from three-point range.
Eddie House (17), Bobby Jackson (15), Maurice Evans (14), Kenny Thomas (12) and Kevin Martin (10) also scored in double-digits for the Kings (50-32), who locked up their fifth consecutive 50-win season.
Jackson, who was activated from the injured list before the game, played 16 minutes in his first action since injuring his wrist in December.
Amare Stoudemire poured in 30 points with 11 rebounds to lead the Suns (62-20), who fell one win short of the team record for wins, set during their NBA Finals season of 1992-93.
Joe Johnson added 19 points in the loss, Quentin Richardson scored 17 and Leandro Barbosa had 16. Phoenix shot 43 percent (38-of-88).
Sacramento made 56 percent of its shots in the first half for a 72-58 lead at the break.
Songaila scored four of his 14 first-half points during a 9-3 Kings run at the end of the second quarter. Jackson capped the burst with one of his three three-pointers.
The Suns, led by Stoudemire’s 18 points, shot 48 percent in the half. They fell behind by as many as 25 points in the second half.
