Dabbert and Edwards named CBA Players of the Week

Boise, ID (Basketball News) - Great Lakes Storm center Joe Dabbert and Sioux Falls Skyforce forward Corsley Edwards were named Continental Basketball Association Players of the Week on Monday.

Dabbert earned Eastern Conference honors by averaging 26.5 points and 11.5 rebounds in two wins last week. He replaced center Jackie Butler, who was called up by the NBA’s New York Knicks.

Edwards was recognized as the Western Conference’s best player after posting 20.6 points and 11.3 rebounds in three games. It was the first weekly award for Edwards, who helped his team clinch a spot in the CBA Playoffs.

Dabbert’s recognition was the eighth Player of the Week award for the Storm this season. Skyforce players have received the award five times this season.
