Dupree, Jackson named Players of the Week Biography Dupree earned the Eastern Conference honor after averaging 23.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.3 blocked shots in three games last week. She had 28 points in a victory over Connecticut and posted a double-double with 24 points and 13 rebounds in a win against New York. Jackson captured the Western Conference award, notching her eighth career Player of the Week honor, after averaging 22.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks in three games. She posted her 11th career 30-point game last Thursday in a victory over Houston. Other candidates for this week’s awards included Houston’s Tina Thompson, Indiana’s Tamika Catchings, Sacramento’s Rebekkah Brunson and San Antonio’s Sophia Young.
