Perkins, Sky survive Monarchs in 2-OT

Sacramento, CA (Basketball News) - Jia Perkins nailed a three in the closing seconds of regulation to force overtime, netted six points in the decisive second OT and finished with 39 points overall, as the Chicago Sky topped the Sacramento Monarchs, 92-84.

Armintie Price and Candice Dupree donated 16 points apiece, and were both active in the extra sessions. It was Dupree who forced a second overtime, hitting a layup just before time expired to knot the contest at 80-80.

The Sky then pulled away in the second OT.

Adrian Williams posted a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds in defeat.
