Palo Alto, CA (Basketball News) - Brooke Smith netted 17 points to lead the sixth-ranked Stanford Cardinal to a 76-66 win over the 14th-ranked Boston College Eagles. Kelley Suminski scored 15 points, while Candice Wiggins added 13 in the win for Stanford (15-2), which has won six straight games. Jessalyn Deveny led all scorers with 26 points and Brooke Queenan added 17 for Boston College (12-2), which saw its 11-game winning streak come to an end.

Austin, TX (Basketball News) - Tiffany Jackson scored 20 points to lead 12th- ranked Texas to a 63-42 win over Oklahoma State. Texas (9-5, 2-2 Big 12) ended a two-game losing streak by forcing 30 turnovers and holding OSU leading scorer Nina Stone to only four points. Christian Hood’s eight points led the Cowgirls (5-9, 0-4), who have dropped four in a row overall and 10 straight to Texas.

Boulder, CO (Basketball News) - Alesha Robertson scored a game-high 27 points to lead four Texas Tech players in double figures as the Red Raiders routed Colorado, 87-41. Chesley Dabbs netted 22 points, Cisti Greenwalt added 12 and LaToya Davis chipped in with 10 for Texas Tech (13-2, 4-0 Big 12). Jackie McFarland was the only player to score in double figures with 11 points for Colorado (7-7, 0-3).

Storrs, CT (Basketball News) - Charde Houston scored 20 points and Jessica Moore added 19, leading No. 16 Connecticut to a 73-57 victory over Big East rival Villanova. Ashley Battle chipped in 11 points off the bench for the Huskies (10-4, 4-0 Big East), who have won two straight since a one-point loss to Tennessee last Saturday. Connecticut shot 53 percent from the floor and led just 34-28 at halftime before outscoring Villanova 39-29 in the final 20 minutes. Jackie Adamshick scored 17 points to lead the Wildcats (9-6, 2-2), who shot 44 percent.

Manhattan, KS (Basketball News) - Kendra Wecker scored 25 points to lead 23rd- ranked Kansas State over Nebraska, 74-59, in Big 12 action. Wecker added eight rebounds, six steals and four assists for the Wildcats (12-3, 3-1 Big 12), who have won three straight since opening conference play with a setback at Iowa State. Claire Coggins added 13 points and Shana Wheeler chipped in nine points with a career-high 11 boards in the win. Kiera Hardy paced Nebraska with 29 points. Jina Johansen added six points with nine assists for the Cornhuskers (11-5, 3-1), who had a five-game winning streak snapped.

Ames, IA (Basketball News) - Mary Fox poured in 17 points and ripped down nine rebounds as No. 24 Iowa State edged the Missouri Tigers, 65-59, at the Hilton Coliseum. Anne O’Neil chipped in with 15 points while Megan Ronhovde added 10 points and grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds for the Cyclones (14-1, 4-0 Big 12), who have won 10 in a row after their loss to the Hawkeyes. C’stelle N’Garsanet scored 17 points for the Tigers (7-8, 1-3), who have dropped three straight in the Big 12. Carlynn Savant netted 11 points and pulled down seven rebounds in the loss.
