Camille Little and Alex Miller both had nine points for the Tar Heels (22-0, 9-0 ACC). Janie Mitchell led Georgia Tech with 12 points, while Kasha Terry contributed 11. Knoxville, TN (Basketball News) - Shanna Zolman had 21 points to lead the No. 5 Tennessee Lady Volunteers in a 77-37 rout of the Arkansas Lady Razorbacks at Thompson-Boling Arena. Candace Parker had 18 points and eight rebounds and Alexis Hornbuckle added 10 points, eight rebounds and six assists for the Lady Vols (21-2, 7-1 SEC), who have won three straight after back-to-back losses. College Park, MD (Basketball News) - Shay Doron had 23 points to lead the sixth-ranked Maryland Terrapins to a 85-71 victory over the Virginia Cavaliers at the Comcast Center. Laura Harper added 17 points and 10 rebounds and Kristi Toliver added 16 points and nine assists for the Terrapins (21-2, 8-1 ACC), who have won seven straight games. Tiffany Sardin had 22 points and 10 rebounds and Sharnee Zoll added 16 points and 12 assists for the Cavaliers (13-8, 2-7), who have dropped their past four games.

Brandie Hoskins added 17 points for the Buckeyes (18-2, 9-1 Big Ten) while Debbie Merrill had seven points and nine rebounds. Nikki Smith led the Hoosiers (12-10, 6-5) with 12 points. Whitney Thomas added nine points and eight rebounds in the loss.

State College, PA (Basketball News) - Katie Gearlds had 17 points to pace No. 8 Purdue to a 72-61 victory over Penn State. Minneapolis, MN (Basketball News) - Jamie Broback scored 21 points, pulled down eight rebounds and had five steals, as 12th-ranked Minnesota routed Michigan, 83-48, at Williams Arena. Natasha Williams tallied 18 points, Shannon Schonrock scored 14 and Kelly Roysland added 12 for the Golden Gophers (17-4, 9-1 Big Ten). Broback scored the game’s first nine points and Minnesota shot 53.3 percent from the field. Janelle Cooper had 13 points to lead Michigan (6-17, 0-11), which dropped its 11th in a row.

Samantha Mahoney had 13 points and Sarah Elliott added 12 in the loss for the Wildcats (15-6, 4-4), who have dropped their past two games.

Angela Clark added 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Kia Wright also had 16 points for the Red Storm (18-4, 8-3 Big East), who improved to 9-0 at home this season. Tara Walker posted 10 points for the Red Storm, who are off to their best start since the 1983-84 season. St. John’s has won nine of its last 12 games. Jessica Dickson had 18 points and Shantia Grace added 15 for South Florida (15-8, 5-5).
