I’ve been wearing Converse shoes exclusively since the influence of Dr. J Erving and Chuck Taylor All Stars. Almost into my mid 40’s I wear the shoes on the court exclusively to this day. As matter of fact there was a period I felt the company were not putting out a cutting edge shoe product, but I continued to stay with brand out of commitment to the brand and my own style to the game. I personally feel the Converse Icon should be a main style that Converse builds upon as they attempt to stay in the tennis shoe game. The Icon brought back a the tradtional styling of the 70’s with a modern classic Converse look of the 21st Century. Whatever the designers and marketers of the company decide too do from a corporate sales perspective, the Icon should stay in full production and colors. . | Posted by

on 04.23.2007 | why the wade playoff edition dont have the smooth aerodynamic feel like icon warrior does... I like converse very much but sometimes the design is too old fashion... and some of design look weird , like it has run out of idea < dead line ... no more >... and wade 2.0 and 1.3 outsole doesn’t look like it have any traction at all and it doesn’t seem to stand up to tear ( like playing in outdoor ) hope converse designer improve in future ... and stop the old school style... go back to the icon warrior basic or loaded weapon or kevin johnson or larry johnson edition... the smooth aerodynamic touch... move forward man... now is 2007... not 1987... no more magic johnson..!!! . |
