Converse Wade Playoff Edition  | | | | | | | | | | To commemorate Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade’s appearance in the 2006 NBA playoffs, Converse is launching a special, postseason colorway of the WADE signature shoe to be worn by the All-Star guard. The new colorway of the WADE signature shoe was revealed when the Miami Heat played the Chicago Bulls on Saturday, April 22nd in Miami.
The black/white/red of the Converse WADE signature shoe is the latest colorway of the performance basketball shoe offered by Converse since its launch in November 2005. Special features on the shoe include:
* An all-new construction from the original signature shoe, the upper moves to a pleated material style. The toe features crocodile skin synthetic leather and the midfoot is made from black nubuck material.
* Converse has also made updates to the Converse WADE logo which plays off the Converse All Star logo. The logo features a silhouette of Wade in place of a star and appears on his signature shoe for the first time. |
