on 05.14.2007 | that is right my friend. these kicks are way to tight for the price. these can even easily pa-------for a price range of $70-$80. real value, and sure don’t tear apar that easy. i got a pair of the black/white/orange colorway in the low top, as well as an all black colorway high tops. they perform well. right out of the box, i first rocked em goin around our neighborhood and in the malls for some walk to break em in a bit. but as far as the feel when i first slipped my feet into em, they really dont need much breakin in. i play a good deal of ballin with both pairs, and it’s been 2 weeks now but they still stay sturdy and clean. the 2’s have got better arch support compared to the 1’s (coz i also copped a pair of the 1’s in the all-whit ensemble) and the cushioning is much better, i believe they have put in a better midsole and thicker insole this time. but hey, the 1’s are still good ball shoes and i still got em in one piece til now after playin with em in 2 tourneys. these new pairs i got have good traction too, the few indentions through the herringbone pattern gives better grip and goes well in both outdoor and indoor courts. the high top has got quite a nice ride at the ankle level so that when you lace em all the way up just right, gives you just enough support. and with the right shoe size, they guarantee no slipping of the foot inside the shoe. all in all, Starbury’s are proven high-performance basketball shoes that are just about the same as other top-brand ones, only more affordable. i definitely recommend these for serious ballers who both have good practical and aesthetic sense. . | Posted by
