If the words "Dee Brown covered his eyes!" mean nothing to you, you might want to drop your cash on something more contemporary. Reebok gives a nod to one of the more memorable stuffs in contest history and the man responsible for it with their release of this shoe, and I’ve a feeling old heads are going to be all over it.
An image of Brown’s blind, leaning dunk is emblazoned on the insole, but otherwise the design of the sneaker remains unchanged since it first hit the stores back in 1991. The patented pump system and hexalite cushioning might have been refined or replaced by superior technologies in later years, but they can’t be beaten for retro appeal. Look for this one to hit the shelves on April 1st.
