(Basketball News) - Shareef Abdur-Rahim posted 34 points and 12 rebounds to lead Atlanta to a 95-83 win over Miami on Friday at Philips Arena.
Abdur-Rahim converted 11-of-14 from the field and 12-of-13 from the foul line for the Hawks, who won for the second time in five games despite nearly squandering an 18-point edge. Jason Terry finished with 21 points and eight assists for Atlanta.
Stephen Jackson added 15 points for Atlanta, which used a 27-10 flurry in the third quarter to expand a 44-43 halftime edge and help the Hawks take home the win.
Abdur-Rahim posted his ninth double-double of the season to lead the Hawks, while Nazr Mohammed pulled down 10 rebounds.
The Hawks visit Allen Iverson and the Philadelphia 76ers tonight.
