Virginia’s Singletary headed back to school

Charlottesville, VA (Basketball News) - Virginia guard Sean Singletary announced on Monday that he has withdrawn his name from consideration for the NBA draft and will return to the university for his senior year.

Singletary has been a first-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference selection for the last two seasons. He averaged 19 points, 4.7 assists and 4.6 rebounds per game last season for the 21-11 Cavaliers, who tied for the ACC’s regular season title with North Carolina and reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
