It's official, Kimye is now out of the bag with our first peak of PDA. Kimye is of course the Kim Kardashian / Kanye West creation we are now witness to. Last night the duo showed their frist PDA while walking down a New York City street. Kimye had just been attending the opening of Scott Disick's restaurant.

Kim and Kanye were meeting up with the rest of Kim's family at the restaurant and were then spotted freely showing affection toward each other throughout the night. It appears the rumors are true that these two long time friends are most definitely a couple and growing more serious by the day. The real question is whether Kim and Kanye have the ability to make a relationship last longer than a reality show season or an album tour, as both are known for numerous volatile relationships. 

Kim's fondness for Kanye was even seen in her choice of jewelry. The reality star wore earings with the initials KW dangling from her ears. This is a not so sublte sign the couple is not only together, but growing serious quickly as these two lover birds have historically done.

With the endlessly publicized marriage of reality skanklet Kim Kardashian to NBA Kris “Who’s He?” Humphries taking place this weekend, it reminded me of several other ill-fated NBA player marriages.

Kim Kardashian filed for divorce Monday morning, after 72 days of not-so-wedded bliss to Kris Humphries  ... TMZ has learned, and now we have the documents. We're told even though the marriage was short, she is not seeking an annulment. It's a garden variety divorce, in which Kim cites "irreconcilable differences." The date of separation is listed as today, Oct. 31, 2011.  According to the docs, Kim wants Kris to foot his own lawyers' fees and she'll pay hers.  And, she wants the court to reject any move by Kris to get spousal support.

The whirlwind romance and marriage between reality celebrity Kim Kardashian and NBA power forward Kris Humphries has ended in, well, a whirlwind.

Kardashian has reportedly filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. Meanwhile, Humphries, who learned of the split via TMZ, is crushed and will do anything and everything to fix things.

Memo to Humphries: move on. Your marriage wasn’t - in the words of Andre 3000 - ‘forever, ever‘.

The four-man should have been suspicious when Kardashian’s people phoned around the NBA in search of a potential mate last season.

This was highly unorthodox -even by today’s standard of E-Harmony matchmaking, fix-me-ups and internet cattle-calls. 

Alarm bells should’ve been ringing when recent reports circulated that the folks at E-Television, including Kardashian, initially preferred an Italian three-man to Humphries.

The whole thing stunk of premeditation -even for the premeditated world of the Kardashian family and  reality television.

So Humphries knew what he was getting into. It’s time he returns to being just a basketball player and retires from being a second-rate celebrity.

He told everyone he was going to come in and be the leading scorer as a freshman and that we’d all have to take a backseat to him. We were trying to be respectful and not say anything. But he was an absolute jerk. It was tough, because Roy was really excited about him. Kris Humphries was a big deal. He was a one-and-done or a two-and-done kind of player. Roy wanted him to commit on his visit. But we told him, “Coach, you can’t bring this guy in. You can’t do it.” You’d figure Roy would say something like, “Let’s work on him,” or “Let’s give him another chance.” Instead he told Humphries, “Sorry, but you can’t come.”

Once upon a time, Humphries was just a basketball player, and not tabloid fodder for US Weekly, National Enquirer and other celebrity publications.

A team official says the Nets have been granted permission to attend the reality star's marriage to forward Kris Humphries on Saturday in California.General manager and other members of the Nets' basketball operations department are expected to attend the ceremony of their free agent forward, the official told The Associated Press on Tuesday on condition of anonymity because the guest list was to remain private. With players and their teams not supposed to be in contact during the lockout, they must check with the league about events where they would be together.

Much to the relief of the Nets organization, they have permission from league head office to go to forward Kris Humphries and celebrity Kim Kardashian's wedding.

They, of course, had to ask permission because the lockout bans teams from talking to players. Special allowances for special circumstances can be made. And apparently The Wedding of the summer is special enough.
