Spurs' Tony Parkes sues Club W.I.P. over Chris Brown and Drake Fight.

As you might have heard, Tony Parker got some glass in his eye when Chris Brown and Drake got into a fight in New York last week. The fight went down at a nightclub in Manhattan called Club W.I.P.

Well, this week Parker filed suit again club W.I.P. for $20 million. The lawsuit states W.I.P. operators were negligent in security and supervision for allowing the fight between Chris Brown (and entourage) and Drake (and entourage), since they had a known history. This history mostly revolves around Drake sleeping with Chris Brown's ex girlfriend Rihanna and rubbing it in Chris Browns face.

The suit does not blame Drake or Chris Brown as defendants, but comes after the club for negligence. It goes on to state, "The defendants were reckless, careless, and negligent in permitting Drake's entourage and Brown's entourage to be in the club at the same time despite known tension between the two."

Parker may be forced to miss the 2012 Olympics in London this summer due to the eye injury in received during the Drake vs. Chris Brown brawl.

Parker's cornea was apparently scratched in the fight over pop singer Rihanna last week. The San Antonio Spurs guard underwent a surgery to remove a shard of glass that had "penetrated 99 percent" of his left eye, according to the Paris AP NEWS.

Initially, Parker downplayed the injury in the press, but now admits, "I almost lost my eye." He did not join the rest of the French national team Wednesday in order to continue treatment in New York.

Apparently, his ability to play in the Olympics this summer will be determined by his doctors. Parker's clearly not happy about the situation and wasn't going to sit around and do nothing, so he filed a $20 million lawsuit against Club W.I.P., the Manhattan nightclub where the incident went down.

As everyone knows by now, the fight was between Drake and Chris Brown over their previous love affairs with pop singer Rihanna. Rihanna cheated on Chris Brown with Drake, which apparently didn't sit well with Brown. Reportedly, Brown tried to put it all behind them by sending Drake over a bottle at the club last week, but Drake sent the bottle back to Brown with a note saying he was banging the love of Brown's life so get over it. Those aren't exactly the words peace is made with. 

The end result may be the bankruptcy of a NY nightclub, the French basketball team loses their best player, and two singers sell more records for all the free publicity. Oh, and Parker almost lost his eye too. Don't want to forget that. Here's to hoping Parker is really ok and playing ball in Londond this summer at the Olympics.
