Some weeks ago we ran a story reporting that a Chicago resident by the name of Kevin Jenkins was had filed to sue Antoine Walker for alleged improper conduct involving his fiancée, Johanna Edelberg. We reached out to Kevin for his side of the story, and he obliged us with what follows.

After taking the top spot on our list of the 25 hottest NBA wives and girlfriends, Hope Dworaczyk has proven to be one of our visitors' favorite ladies. With that being so, we couldn't think of anyone better to be our Babe of the Month for December 2010. Right now life isn't exactly fantastic for Antoine Walker, the NBA's all-time leader in both shimmies and four-pointers attempted. After blowing through a phenomenal amount of dough (he earned over $110 million in his career) and struggling to return to the league, the last thing he wants is to be exposed to more financial liabilities. Unfortunately for 'Toine, that's exactly what happened when a Chicago resident by the name of Kevin Jenkinsfiled a suit claiming that Antoine Walker not only slept with his fiancée but convinced her to kick him out of their residence while Walker waited outside in his Range Rover.

The lady in question is one Johanna Edelberg, whose name last showed up in the papers in 2001 when her roommate committed suicide after the two smoked marijuana in their Manhattan apartment. Both women were then working as plus-size models for NYC's famed Wilhelmina Models agency, and a quick Google search turns up a number of photoshoots featuring the curvy Ms. Edelberg in such a capacity.

We discovered not too long ago that Eva Longoria and Tony Parker were set to split after TP9 allegedly put the naughty on the wife of former Spur Brent Barry. Nasty stuff all-round, and with Eva apparently unwilling to overlook Tony's infidelities it was no surprise that the pair bought a one-way ticket to Splitsville.

Traditionally, the interested parties sever all contact and leave it to the suits to divide the marbles and finalize the divorce. This time, however, it seems as if the estranged pair are looking to do things a little more personally, meeting face-to-face in an L.A.-area hotel before the Spurs-Clippers game to talk things over. So what does this mean? It could merely be that Eva and Tony are hoping to separate amicably, with a meeting on neutral ground a commitment to keeping this divorce from becoming unnecessarily messy. It could also be one last effort by TP9 to win back his lady before they reach the point of no return.

For many months the word on the web was that Dwight Howard had finally found a new lady following the Royce Reed fiasco. Until recently, however, the identity of the woman in question remained a mystery. Now we know that the girl at the center of the rumors is Christine Vest, a former forward for Chico State, where she was a senior studying Communication Design last season.

It seems like only yesterday that we first reported that Maria Sharapova and Sasha Vujacic were dating, and initially few were ready to believe that The Machine, he whose rump is festooned with bench splinters, could have snagged one of the world's most recognizable athletes. As time went on, however, it became increasingly clear that the two were indeed an item, especially when photos started appearing of the pair all coupled up.

The surprise is the fact that her new fella is a mere 22 years old, a fact that doesn't go unnoticed by the other ladies. Naturally, a discussion ensues as they analyze Evelyn's decision to date a man many years her junior. If you've been keeping up with the HoopsVibe NBA gossip section, you'll know that Adriana Lima and Marko Jaric, now playing for Real Madrid, had their first child together in November 2009. Now, some months later, the first photos of their little one have hit the web via People Magazine. Check out the image below for the first look at Valentina Lima Jaric with her parents Marko and Adriana.

Bad went to worse for Siohvaughn Wade when Dwyane started seeing Gabrielle Union, and today things just got even worserer. After failing to show in court this morning for the ongoing custody case between her and estranged husband Dwyane, Judge Marya Nega gave her until the afternoon to either appear or face time in jail. Guess what: She never materialized. When the deadline came and went and she remained a no-show, the judge followed through on her threat and ordered the Cook County Sheriff's Department to take Siohvaughn Wade into custody.

In this clip from the most recent episode of Basketball Wives, Evelyn Lozada hires a private investigator after receiving a series of threatening emails. Evelyn expresses her concern that the anonymous messages mention her teenage daughter, and tells the investigator that she thinks an NBA wife or girlfriend is responsible. Could these be threats from the person who leaked the naked photos of Evelyn Lozada? I guess we'll find out.

Matt Barnes is the only active NBA player to have appeared in Basketball Wives, and evidently he's none too happy about it. He appeared on Jim Rome's radio show recently and let us know how he really feels about the TV show that gives us a glimpse into the lives of NBA wives and girlfriends.  “I was 100% against it. Shaunie O’Neal approached my fiancée (Gloria Govan) and I was really apprehensive about it. They kept approaching my fiancée Gloria about it back and forth and back and forth and I was really against it. My fiancée talked to the producers and went through everything and felt good about it. I definitely backed her."

The saga continues for Dwyane Wade and estranged wife Siohvaughn Wade (née Funches). After a horribly messy divorce which involved accusations that Dwyane gave his former lady an STD and that his children no longer recognized him, it looked as if things were finally quieting down.  Not so, evidently.  After settling into a new relationship with model/actress Gabrielle Union (who took the third spot on our list of the NBA's 25 Hottest Wives and Girlfriends), things were looking up for Wade's personal life.

In this clip from Basketball Wives, Jennifer Williams, Evelyn Lozada and Royce Reed spot Sandra, a woman they call "Plastic Surgery" with a reputation as a groupie. Spurred on by Royce, Jennifer decides to confront the woman and ask her about her relationship with Eric Williams. Things go sour quickly when the woman defends herself and tells Jennifer that she has seen Eric talking to other women.

In the following clip from episode 3 of Basketball Wives, Jennifer Williams takes Royce Reed to her stylist for a makeover to help her shake off the "little girl-pretty" look. 

In this clip from last night's episode of Basketball Wives, Evelyn Lozada and Jennifer Williams eat breakfast at the home of Matt Barnes and Gloria Govan. Matt mentions that they live very close to Tiger Woods, and the conversation turns to Tiger's infidelity. Evelyn and Jennifer antagonize Jennifer and Matt despite Matt's neutral stance on the matter.

In this clip from Basketball Wives, Gloria Govan talks about life in Orlando with Matt Barnes and their 16-month-old twin boys. She also drops some information on their unconventional first date, infidelity and why she decided to appear on the show.

Eric Williams does his best to keep things light while explaining his actions, but there's little he can to do take the edge off the tension during his dinner with wife Jennifer Williams. It's not just NBA players that are getting caught out when it comes to private snaps going public. (Click to read about Greg Oden's doodle, George Hill's premature problem and Dorell Wright's shortcomings.) Now it turns out that Evelyn Lozada, the ex-fiancée of Antoine Walker currently appearing in VH1's Basketball Wives, took some naked photos of her own. While it's unknown exactly how long ago they were captured and sent to that special someone, they hit the web very recently and have been widely disseminated since then. All that is known is that they originated from a man she previously dated to whom she sent the photos in confidence. As we've learned recently, though, it's not too uncommon for such shots to find their way out into the wide world.

A week ago HoopsVibe set out to find the NBA's 25 hottest wives and girlfriends from our gallery of 500+ images, and the process turned out to be harder than we expected. After consulting a panel evenly split between men and women, conducting a few polls and shuffling the order a few dozen times, though, we finally settled on the list below. Once again, Royce Reed is at the center of the Basketball Wives drama, this time without even being present. After an interesting opening episode, I was wondering what mischief the women of VH1's Basketball Wives would find themselves in for the second show. Well, in the clip below the action turns to the preparations for Evelyn Lozada's 34th birthday party, which doubles as an independence party acknowledging the end of her ten-year relationship with Antoine Walker. She and her event planner visit different spots as they decide on a venue, but the real quandary concerns whether or not to invite Royce Reed, who in the previous episode embarrassed the other basketball wives with her dancing.

The problems are still piling up for Allen Iverson.  After splitting from the Philadelphia 76ers and divorcing wife Tawanna Iverson, you couldn't blame AI for acting a little out of character.  Reports hit the gossip pages suggesting that Iverson had something of a drinking problem and that his gambling behavior had resulted in his being banned from several casinos.  The purchase of a $4.5 million house seemed to confirm the split from Tawanna, and since then we've heard very little from the former NBA MVP.

After Greg Oden's doodle and George Hill's wang showed up online, I thought we'd seen the last of NBA dong for a while.  Nuh-uh.  Yet again a poor decision made about a year back has resulted in someone's junk being exposed to the world.  In this case, the baller in question is Dorell Wright, small forward for the Miami Heat.  After his girlfriend and baby mother Mia Lee posted a tweet in reference to Wright, a groupie and former hook-up responded by posting the compromising images that have put the 6'9" three in an embarrassing spot.  In the photos, Wright can be seen exposing himself during an online chat session.

VH1's Basketball Wives debuted last night, and we have a couple of clips for you today.  In the video below, Evelyn Lozada, former fiancée of Antoine Walker, talks about breaking up with the former All-Star.

 With the debate over Wilt Chamberlain's claim to have slept with over 20,000 women still raging, we hear from former NBA player Winston Bennett that he would regularly take over ninety women to bed in a month.

“Three or four women in one day was typical for me. It was like a drug. I had to have more.”

Things just keep getting worse for Allen Iverson.  AI has struggled on the court, moved through multiple teams and recently left the 76ers to tend to his unwell daughter Messiah in Atlanta.  Well, it turns out that the same day that he parted ways with Philly he also began the process of splitting from his wife.  Tawanna Iverson, who has been married to Allen for eight years, filed for divorce in the Fulton County Superior Court Tuesday, stating that their marriage was "irretrievably broken".  Tawanna is also seeking temporary and permanent custody of their five children, who range in age from 17 months to 15 years.

Could the breakdown of his marriage have contributed to Iverson's decision to call it quits on the season?  Will the stress of parting from the mother of his kids ultimately lead to his retirement from the NBA?  Let us know what you think by leaving a comment below.

After false rumors that the big day had come a few weeks ago, it's been confirmed that Keyshia Cole has given birth to a healthy baby boy.  She and Boobie Gibson, who have been engaged since New Year's Day when he reportedly gave her an $800,000 ring containing a 10-carat diamond, welcomed their son into the world at 11:54 PM on Tuesday.  The baby, who tipped the scales at 7lb, 3oz., was named Daniel Gibson Jr. after his father.

Update: a commenter informs us that her full name is Silvia Lopez Castro.  It seems to check out, so we're going with that for now.  Some name her simply as "Silvia Lopez", though.

HoopsVibe was in the house for the 2010 All-Star Weekend festivities, and it was while at the Rookie Challenge that we caught sight of Pau Gasol and a very attractive young lady sitting next to one another.  NBA players and pretty women aren't that uncommon courtside, though, so we shook it off and forgot about it.  It turns out, however, that the female in question is Pau Gasol's girlfriend and possible fiancée Silvia.  

Her surname has yet to surface, but we do have a few juicy details about Pau's new squeeze.  Silvia Lopez  Castro is a cheerleader for Dream Cheers, a traveling dance troupe that performs at halftime for sports teams such as Gasol's former club FC Barcelona.  Silvia is reported to be 29 years old, although several sources have her age at just 21.  Silvia, who now lives with the Lakers center, also comes from Pau's native Catalonia in northeastern Spain, and was first spotted with the Spanish pivot in June of 2009.

Fresh from the TMI files comes another of KK's discussions of her definitely-not-a-publicity-stunt marriage to the Candyman.  Now it transpires that while Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom aren't planning children, Khloé isn't using the Pill either.  

"We're just being a healthy married young couple. I'm not sitting here staring at an ovulation calendar. I'm not saying to Lamar, 'Okay, it's time, let's go!' Yes, I'm not on the Pill, but people stir my words around."

 When you stop playing defense, doesn't that imply that you're trying for a baby?  Is this the way people who like surprises plan a family?  If you know, please inform us.

Kenya Bell is, by all accounts, a very intelligent woman.  She may have a little too much free time on her hands, though.  


 

The former Miss Michigan and wife of Milwaukee guard Charlie Bell has loaded only a few videos to her YouTube page (one of which is private but looks fascinating), but so far they're quite, how you say, entertaining.  Just watch them.  Please.

Apparently, this is the time of year when NBA exes leak cellphone camera snaps of their former baller boyfriends to the public.  Greg Oden's doodle was the first to hit the web, and now we discover that George Hill, reserve point guard for the San Antonio Spurs, has also made an appearance online in his birthday suit.  

It's not quite the same this time, though.  It's worse.  Much worse.

Khloé Kardashian has a plan to keep Lamar Odom faithful on road trips.  That plan, as you may have guessed already, is terrible.  It is in a scene in her soul-crushingly dull reality TV show that we discover that the largest of all the known Kardashians has taken a break in her studies on Quantum Theory to formulate a scheme to make sure her new hubby doesn't stray when the Lakers are playing away from Staples.

Fans of HoopsVibe will know the name Siohvaughn Funches (pictures here and here) by now.  The ex-wife of Dwyane Wade popped up in the gossip section here a couple of times, most recently when she accused Dwyane of giving her an STD, and subsequently when Flash sued her for the allegation.  

Retirement may be dull for some folks, but life doesn't look too bad for Michael Jordan right now.  Not only is the GOAT free to roam the world in search of sun, sea and golf, but he has a pretty pleasant situation at home in Miami.  Throw in a gorgeous girlfriend in Yvette Prieto and a Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano and MJ is the envy of most men on the planet.

There's not much more to this particular story than the title and the video below.  There is, however, a lot more to the ongoing saga between Dwight Howard and Royce Reed, his ex-girlfriend and the mother of his son Braylon Howard.  Not only did Howard sue her for $9.2 million for defamatory comments she supposedly posted online while violated a gag order, but he followed that up with another lawsuit when Reed posted this picture of herself and her son on Twitter:

Well, if D12 and his legal team could find any legal justification for it, I'm sure this would be grounds for lawsuit number three.  As it is, the video of Royce Reed dancing like a woman possessed at a Super Bowl party attended by Ludacris and Terrell Owens will be just another source of embarrassment for Dwight Howard as he cultivates the squeaky-clean image that has helped him close numerous endorsement deals.  Perhaps the worst part of the clip comes when Ludacris announces that the two ladies (Reed was dancing with another young woman) will be winning two tickets each to a game between the Clippers and Kings.  Yeah.

If you heard that Keyshia Cole went into labor with Daniel "Boobie" Gibson's baby yesterday, you heard wrong.  It is true that the Cavs guard showed up late to the game after attending to his fiancée and unborn child at the hospital, but it wasn't because the future NBA baby was on the way.  Cleveland GM Danny Ferry was the one to clarify things, announcing that Gibson's absence was because Keyshia Cole had been taken into the hospital for "precautionary reasons" and that Boobie had been excused to be by her side.  Gibson was back in the building in time for the start of the second half, and he was focused enough to chip in twelve points after the intermission.

Even though Boobie and Keyshia's baby may not be here quite yet, it's not far off.  Cole's due date is March 2, which is sandwiched between a Cavs home game against New York on the first and a road contest against the Nets on the third.  As always, you can check back here for HoopsVibe's coverage of the latest NBA gossip.

Here, in short, are the details:

- Charlsie House, wife of Boston Celtics guard Eddie House, was in attendance for the Suns' win over Gang Green on December 30.

- Brandon Laird shouted derogatory remarks at Charlsie House before allegedly taking a swing at one of the other women in the lounge.

- A brawl broke out, resulting in the arrest of two MLB players for scrapping with security guards at the U.S. Airways Arena.  Those two were brothers Brandon and Gerald Laird and Brandon Laird, the former a catcher for the Detroit Tigers and the latter a prospect for the New York Yankees.

- The Lairds' uncle was also arrested.

- When pressed for more information surrounding the affairs of that evening, Charlsie House also claimed that the grandfather of the two Lairds touched  her inappropriately.

Classy folks, those Lairds.

After receiving an an apology ring for Kobe Bryant's transgressions valued at over $4 million, it's no wonder the first lady of the Lakers developed a taste for expensive jewelry.  When Vanessa Bryant visited the home of the first lady of the United States, then, she had to break out something a little special.  That came in the form of a Rolex Oyster watch costing over $51,000.  That may sound a little pricey initially, but you can't overpay for luxury, right?

With a frame that would serve her well in the NFL and a smile that causes my testicles to retreat to my abdominal cavity for safety, you'd hope that Double-K would at least have the good sense to keep herself clean.  Unfortunately, we now know that in her totally-not-phony marriage, she ranks second on the personal hygiene leaderboard.  We are aware of this fact because Khloé Kardashian herself confessed to OK! Magazine that husband Lamar Odom is cleaner than she.  To up the creep factor, she also added this horrifying detail:

"[Lamar Odom] is constantly cleaning down there."

Did anybody else wonder why the Mavericks were without their HOFer-to-be point guard for Sunday's ruthless spanking of the Knickerbockers?  Nor did I.  Still, it transpires that Jason Kidd missed the game to support girlfriend Porschla Coleman during the birth of his fifth child.  Evidently the relationship between Kidd and Coleman, who were first spotted together at a charity function hosted by LeBron James, moved quicker than they were letting on.

The date has been set to 07/07/2007 for the wedding of NBA All-Star Tony Parker and TV Star Eva Longoria.

Britney Spears has been spotted several times at the Staple Center attending Lakers games over the past few weeks.

It did not take long for the rumor to follow: she is rumored to be dating Lakers' player Luke Walton, son of basketball legend Bill Walton.

Dwyane and his wife Siohvaughn welcomed the latest addition to the Wade family. Zion Malachi Airamis Wade was born on Tuesday, May 29,2007 at 8:45 p.m. CT in Chicago.

Carmelo Anthony's fiancee, MTV's LaLa Vazquez, gave birth to a baby boy, the first couple's first child, at Sky Ridge Medical Center in Lone Tree, Colorado. Kiyan Anthony weighs five pounds and 9 1/2 ounces, and he's 18 1/2 inches long.

Tony Parker and Eva Longoria were spotted this week in Paris having a good time few days only after the couple reportedly split.
