Is Royce Reed marrying Dezmond Briscoe?

In the latest episode of "Basketball Wives" it looks like Dezmond could be popping the question sometime soon. Over dinner Royce mentioned how she wanted a ring on her finger to which Dezmond responded he was "working on that." He then followed it up asking what her ring size was. If that's not a sign a man's thinking about popping the question I don't know what is. For the record, it's a size 5.

Royce has been with 9 boyfriends since the show's inception, but it looks like Mr. Briscoe may be the real deal. Dezmond isn't a basketball player, but he's still a pro athlete and currently plays for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Their relationship became official back in August with her online guidance to her followers to "follow her boo."

Royce may be marrying a pro athlete in the near future, but this is one "Basketball Wife" with a lot going on herself. She has her own workout video and energy drink coming out, so no matter who Royce marries it looks like she knows how to take care of herself.

HoopsVibe's Very Quick Call: This one is only getting uglier by the second. She's broke, he's loaded, and they had a kid. That's a recipe for some serious gold digging.

If you missed episode 6 of Basketball Wives, you missed a great one. Luckily, you can catch up right here by watching the episode in its entirety. The wives get charitable in this episode, with Jennifer Williams hosting a benefit and Royce Reed inviting the other ladies to volunteer at a soup kitchen. There's also a ton of gossipy gold as the ladies dissect the latest rumors and take shots at one another.

Matt Barnes is the only active NBA player to have appeared in Basketball Wives, and evidently he's none too happy about it. He appeared on Jim Rome's radio show recently and let us know how he really feels about the TV show that gives us a glimpse into the lives of NBA wives and girlfriends.  “I was 100% against it. Shaunie O’Neal approached my fiancée (Gloria Govan) and I was really apprehensive about it. They kept approaching my fiancée Gloria about it back and forth and back and forth and I was really against it. My fiancée talked to the producers and went through everything and felt good about it. I definitely backed her."

In this clip from Basketball Wives, Jennifer Williams, Evelyn Lozada and Royce Reed spot Sandra, a woman they call "Plastic Surgery" with a reputation as a groupie. Spurred on by Royce, Jennifer decides to confront the woman and ask her about her relationship with Eric Williams. Things go sour quickly when the woman defends herself and tells Jennifer that she has seen Eric talking to other women.

In the following clip from episode 3 of Basketball Wives, Jennifer Williams takes Royce Reed to her stylist for a makeover to help her shake off the "little girl-pretty" look.

You know you want to watch the clip. Go on, click it. Nobody will know. Seriously, this clip is about as entertaining as they get. Royce Reed apparently hasn't learned from her last public performance and decides she wants to perform at Evelyn Lozada's 34th birthday party. What ensues baffles the other women of Basketball Wives and, in the process, makes for some great television.

Once again, Royce Reed is at the center of the Basketball Wives drama, this time without even being present. When Royce still hasn't made an appearance at Evelyn Lozada's 34th birthday party a full two hours after it started, Jennifer Williams starts to get a little testy. Shaunie O'Neal's friend Rashidah Ali calls her out and a tense moment ensues. Check the clip out to see exactly what goes down.

After an interesting opening episode, I was wondering what mischief the women of VH1's Basketball Wives would find themselves in for the second show. Well, in the clip below the action turns to the preparations for Evelyn Lozada's 34th birthday party, which doubles as an independence party acknowledging the end of her ten-year relationship with Antoine Walker. She and her event planner visit different spots as they decide on a venue, but the real quandary concerns whether or not to invite Royce Reed, who in the previous episode embarrassed the other basketball wives with her dancing.

By now, it's already clear that VH1's Basketball Wives is going to provide some interesting viewing.  From the mountains of gossip to the volatile interpersonal relationships between the ladies featured, this is a must-watch show for fans of NBA gossip.  The season opener aired last night, and VH1 has just released the full episode online.  Check out the video below to see the shenanigans of these NBA wives, girlfriends and exes as they give us a little insight into the lives of the women beside the world's top basketball players.  You can also hit up our gallery featuring photos of all the women of Basketball Wives by clicking right here.

There's not much more to this particular story than the title and the video below.  There is, however, a lot more to the ongoing saga between Dwight Howard and Royce Reed, his ex-girlfriend and the mother of his son Braylon Howard.  Not only did Howard sue her for $9.2 million for defamatory comments she supposedly posted online while violated a gag order, but he followed that up with another lawsuit when Reed posted this picture of herself and her son on Twitter:

Well, if D12 and his legal team could find any legal justification for it, I'm sure this would be grounds for lawsuit number three.  As it is, the video of Royce Reed dancing like a woman possessed at a Super Bowl party attended by Ludacris and Terrell Owens will be just another source of embarrassment for Dwight Howard as he cultivates the squeaky-clean image that has helped him close numerous endorsement deals.  Perhaps the worst part of the clip comes when Ludacris announces that the two ladies (Reed was dancing with another young woman) will be winning two tickets each to a game between the Clippers and Kings.  Yeah.
