Best in the World Come Together at adidas Nations

They may be from different countries, but they all speak the language of hoops.

HoopsVibe's Very Quick Call: These are the stars of tomorrow from around the globe. Tolentino and Rodas may be the next Manu and Parker.

2013 adidas Nations

The premier international grassroots basketball program for 18-and-under players is going down right now. It all happens at Next Level Sports Complex in Garden Grove, Calif.  Players at this elite camp represent the U.S., Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe and Latin America.

The best part of having great basketball players from around the entire world is just that. They are from around the entire world. If you've never heard someone cuss out a ref in Mandarin you haven't lived. The truth is with all the cultural, language, and socioeconomic differences these players may have off the court the universal truth of a back-door-cut is understood by all.

Some players always shine above others and adidas Nations camp is no different. Some of the standouts the NCAA and NBA scouts are keeping their eyes on include Braian Rodas (Latin) with 20.7 PPG, Arvin Tolentino (Asia) with 23 PPG, and Michael Nzei (Africa) with 11.7 RPG. Yes, basketball is definitely an international game these days.
