Kendrick Lamar’s rap has Jackson, MWP, & LeBron Responding.

Kendrick Lamar's verse has the entire NBA and Hip Hop worlds on fire.

HoopsVibe's Very Quick Call: When Phil Jackson is tweeting a response to your rap you know you dropped a hot verse.

Kendrick Lamar Concert

‚ÄčKendrick Lamar set the NBA and Hip Hop worlds on fire 3 days ago with the release of the Big Sean track "Control." On the track Kendrick put down a verse many are calling verse of the year. He calls out names of rappers that need to step up their game and makes a few too many basketball declarations for some NBA players.

In his verse Kendrick claims, "If Phil Jackson came back, still no coaching me. I’m uncoachable, I’m unsociable, f*** your clubs."

Phil (The Zen Master) Jackson responded by schooling Kendrick and then coaching him. Are you kidding me Kendrick? This man coached Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant, two of the biggest egos since Ceasar and Napolean. Consider yourself coached. Felt good didn't it?

Metta World Peace also had a response for Kendrick. MWP was cerebral in a way only MWP can be. Who says MWP isn't a glass-is-half-full type of guy?

Iman Shumpert of the New York Knicks also weights in on the name infamous Kendrick verse that has the entire NBA and hip hop worlds buzzing. Shumpert a rapper in the off-season decided to lay down a response track titled "Dear Kendrick."

Even LeBron James got in on the discussion and he was positive just like MWP. Looks like the NBA has a lot of love for Kendrick Lamar. He's got a coach on his side and a couple solid players. Next stop … NBA All-Star weekend 2014. I think we know who the featured performer should be.
