Arizona’s Fox inactive after surgery
Tucson, AZ (Sports Network) – Arizona forward Isaiah Fox underwent surgery on
his injured left knee Wednesday. He is expected to miss between three and four
Fox, a 6-foot-9 forward, tore the meniscus in his left knee in the first half
of Arizona’s 78-77 loss to Florida in the Tip-Off Classic from Springfield,
Massachusetts last Friday.
The junior, who averaged 8.5 points and 6.5 rebounds in two games this season,
could seek a medical redshirt.
Fox was going to be counted on as one of the Wildcats more productive reserves
this season. The junior notched the first double-double of his career with 15
points and 11 rebounds in Arizona’s season-opening win over Northern Arizona.
