Bryant has missed the past six contests with a sprained right shoulder. Bryant suffered the injury in a game versus Cleveland on January 12 at the Staples Center. Los Angeles head coach Phil Jackson said Bryant felt strong enough to return to return to the court for game action.

Bryant, spent Friday in Colorado at a court hearing for his pending sexual assault trial.

Fox on the other hand had been on the injured list since opening day. The forward had been recovering from surgery to his tore tendon in his left foot. The injury occurred in the first round of last season’s playoffs.

The Lakers are hoping both players can contribute in any way for their tilt against the Jazz. Especially Bryant, who was averaging 22.0 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game before the injury.

Los Angeles is currently in the midst of a nine-game road losing streak and have dropped three straight contests.
