Report: Gordon headed to NBA

White Plains, NY (Sports Network) – UConn guard Ben Gordon will forego his
senior season by making himself eligible for the NBA Draft, according to a

The Journal News of New York is reporting that Gordon will make the decision
public as early as Wednesday.

A possible Top-10 selection, Gordon averaged a team-leading 18.5 points for
the Huskies this past season en route to a national title.

In the NCAA Tournament, Gordon helped his draft status by averaging 21.2
points in six games.

Gordon’s teammate center Emeka Okafor is also in the process of making his
decision on whether or not to skip his senior campaign for the NBA.
