Clarke to transfer from Miami

Karron Clarke has decided to transfer from the men’s basketball program.
Clarke marks the second Hurricane to announce his intentions to transfer in
the last four days. Guard Armando Surratt declared his intentions on Friday.
“Karron has decided to transfer from the University of Miami and we have
granted him his release,” said head coach Frank Haith. “Although we are
disappointed in his decision we wish him the best of luck in the future.”
Clarke played in all 30 games last season averaging 3.1 points and 2.2
rebounds in 10.7 minutes per game. The 6-foot-6 197-pounder was 26-81 (.321)
from the field, including 5-36 (.139) from three-point range, and 35-52 (.673)
from the line.
