2004 USA Team:

Larry Brown (Detroit Pistons) will serve as the USA’s head coach. He will be assisted by Gregg Popovich (San Antonio Spurs), Oliver Purnell (Clemson University), Roy Williams (University of North Carolina).

The USA Men’s Senior National Team will consist of 12 players.

Nine players have been announced as members of the 2004 USA Men’s Senior National Team core group and include: Ray Allen (Seattle SuperSonics), Mike Bibby (Sacramento Kings), Kobe Bryant (Los Angeles Lakers), Tim Duncan (San Antonio Spurs), Allen Iverson (Philadelphia 76ers), Jason Kidd (New Jersey Nets), Karl Malone (Los Angeles Lakers), Tracy McGrady (Orlando Magic) and Jermaine O’Neal (Indiana Pacers).

The U.S. team’s three remaining roster spots will be determined by the USA Basketball Men’s Senior National Team Committee.
