Wednesday, June 09, 2004 The 2004 AND 1 Mix Tape® Tour presented by Mountain Dew Code Red continued tonight in Los Angeles as the AND 1 players were handed their second straight loss of the tour by the local Los Angeles squad.

The AND1 players seemed to have difficulty with the tenacious defense of the Los Angeles team as AND 1 fell behind early on their way to a 99-90 loss. The AND 1 players continued their search for the next playground legend on this summer’s 30-city tour by selecting California ball player Deshun Jackson to join this summer’s tour.

Main Event demonstrated why he truly is a street ball legend; hitting for 18 points and grabbing nine boards. Both Main and Helicopter provided the crowd with some thunderous dunks throughout the game.

The AND 1 players never really got into the game and found themselves down 59-44 at halftime. Team Los Angeles’s Kenny B aka Santa Claus was instrumental in their victory, playing tough defense on very AND 1 player he covered.

After playing in the Fresno Open Run and not being selected; California’s Deshun Jackson followed the tour to Los Angeles to earn another chance at the coveted AND 1 endorsement contract.

After an impressive performance in both the Open Run and AND 1 Mix Tape® Game; the AND 1 players continued their search for the next playground legend by selecting Jackson to join the 2004 AND 1 Mix Tape® Tour. Deshun Jackson aka Father Time dropped 15 points and grabbed two rebounds while earning his way onto the 2004 tour.
Jackson is the fourth player selected this summer for the right to earn an AND 1 endorsement contract and be featured on season three of ESPN 2’s Street Ball: The AND 1 Mix Tape® Tour presented by Mountain Dew Code Red.

Original AND 1 streetball icon Skip to My Lou (also known as Rafer Alston of the Miami Heat and former Fresno State player) make a guest appearances.
