Robinson returning to Washington
Seattle, WA (Sports Network) – University of Washington guard Nate Robinson
has decided to return to school for his junior season.
Robinson, who made the announcement during a Thursday news conference, wants
to improve his draft status.
NBA scouts projected the 5-foot-7 Robinson to be a second-round pick.
Robinson was Washington’s leading scorer last season, averaging 13.2 points in
31 games. He helped the Huskies to a 19-12 record and an appearance in the
Washington dropped a 102-100 thriller to UAB in the opening round of the
tournament. Robinson scored a game-high 27 points in the loss.
