Kansas State guard leaves team
Manhattan, KS (Sports Network) – Kansas State guard Dez Willingham will not
return to the men’s basketball team for the upcoming season.
According to head coach Jim Wooldridge, Willingham was given this past weekend
to think about his decision, but he is not expected to change his mind.
Willingham played in 22 games (11 starts) last season for the Wildcats,
averaging 4.4 points and 2.8 assists per contest.
The DeSoto, Texas native underwent shoulder surgery in April and missed the
beginning of classes last Wednesday.
