Longtime St. Peter’s coach dead at 97

Jersey City, NJ (Sports Network) – Don Kennedy, the winningest men’s coach in
the history of St. Peter’s basketball, has died. He was 97.

Kennedy passed away on Tuesday, but no cause of death has been determined.

Kennedy served at the helm of the Peacocks for 22 years, and notched a 323-195
record. He led the Peacocks to three NAIA tournaments and five appearances in
the NIT.
