Soderberg is entering his third year at the helm of the Billikens’ program
with a 35-27 mark. He has a 10-year career head coaching record of 166-100.

With NIT bids in both 2003 and 2004, Soderberg became the third Billiken head
coach to guide SLU into the postseason in his first two seasons. He joined
Eddie Hickey (1948 and 1949 NIT) and John Benington (1959 and 1960 NIT) in
that group.

In his initial campaign in 2002-03, Soderberg guided the Bills through a late-
season eight-game winning streak that included a stunning upset of then-
second-ranked Louisville.

Saint Louis, a charter member of Conference USA, will switch to the Atlantic
10 Conference next season.
