points and Rashad McCants added 18 points to lead second-ranked North Carolina
to a 95-71 rout of North Carolina State at the Smith Center. Sean May tallied
16 points and 14 rebounds for the Tar Heels (18-2, 7-1 ACC), who have won
four straight and 18 of their last 19 contests. Raymond Felton recorded 11
points and 10 assists, as Carolina has defeated its in-state rival three
consecutive times. The Tar Heels have now won their last 14 games at the Smith
Center dating back to last year. The team is 10-0 at home this year. Julius
Hodge had 18 points and eight rebounds for the Wolfpack (13-8, 3-5), who

Huskies (18-3, 8-2 Pac-10), who ended the game shooting 60 percent.
Williams went 9-of-10 from the field for Washington, which has won two in a
row and five of six. Will Conroy went for 11 points and recorded 10
assists for the Huskies, winners of four straight versus the Trojans.

last week’s loss to Washington State and won for the sixth time in their last
seven contests. Mustafa Shakur also finished with 10 points and eight assists,
as Arizona shot 64 percent (40-of-63) in the victory. Richard Midgley
recorded 18 points to lead the Golden Bears (11-9, 4-6), who had their
three-game win streak snapped. Rod Benson netted 12 points for
California, while Martin Smith collected 11 points and eight assists.
