left in double overtime lifted Texas Tech to a thrilling 80-79 upset of No. 2
Kansas in a Big 12 showdown at United Spirit Arena. Martin Zeno scored 24
points to help the Red Raiders earn only their second victory over the
Jayhawks in 17 all-time meetings. Ronald Ross compiled 21 points, 11 rebounds
and seven assists while Jarrius Jackson contributed 19 points for Texas Tech
(16-6, 8-3 Big 12), which has won five of its last six games. Keith Langford
finished with 24 points and eight rebounds for Kansas (20-2, 10-1), which
twice sent the game into extra periods with dramatic baskets in the final

Syracuse, NY (Sports Network) – Carl Krauser scored 15 points, including nine
in the final 6 1/2 minutes, as 17th-ranked Pittsburgh rallied for a 68-64
victory over No. 9 Syracuse in a key Big East Conference clash at the Carrier
Dome. Chevon Troutman recorded 20 points along with 10 rebounds and made 16-
of-20 free throw attempts for the Panthers, who outscored the Orange 18-6 over
the last seven minutes to complete a season sweep of their conference rival.
Chris Taft finished with 14 points and 10 boards for Pittsburgh (18-4, 8-3 Big
East), which has won three straight and six of seven overall. Louie McCroskey
netted a career-high 18 points while Gerry McNamara compiled 16 points and 10
assists for Syracuse (22-4, 9-3), which has dropped two of three and fell on
its home court for the second time in a week.

also grabbed 13 rebounds, as 14th-ranked Utah posted a 71-62 victory over
Wyoming in Mountain West Conference action at the Huntsman Center. Marc
Jackson and Richard Chaney added 12 points apiece for the Utes (22-3, 10-0
MWC), who have won 17 straight games. Utah hasn’t lost since dropping a 67-62
decision to Arizona on December 11. Jay Straight scored a team-high 16 points
for the Cowboys (14-9, 6-4), who had their winning streak halted at four
games. Dion Sherrell added 12 points in the loss, while Justin Williams
chipped in 11.
