UConn suspends freshman guard

Storrs, CT (Sports Network) – Connecticut has suspended freshman guard Antonio
Kellogg for violation of team policy.

The school would not elaborate on the reason behind the penalty, only saying
Kellogg would not practice with the team or travel during the NCAA Tournament.

Connecticut, the defending national champion, is seeded second in the Syracuse
bracket and will face Central Florida in the first round Friday in Worcester,
Massachusetts.

Kellogg played in all 29 games for the Huskies this season in a backup role
and averaged 3.2 points per contest.
