Nash named men’s basketball coach at St. Francis College
Brooklyn Heights, NY (Sports Network) – St. Francis College announced
Wednesday the hiring of Brian Nash as the new men’s head basketball coach.
Nash becomes the 16th coach in the school’s history and takes over for Ron
Ganulin, who did not receive a renewal of his contract following the 2004-05
Ganulin was St. Francis’ head coach from 1991-2005 and compiled a 187-207
record. The Terriers finished this past season with a 13-15 mark, including
9-9 in the Northeast Conference.
The 34-year-old Nash comes to St. Francis College after serving as an
assistant coach under Louis Orr at Seton Hall University since 2001.
“Brian’s experience as a player and leadership as a successful assistant coach
are well matched for the goals of the St. Francis College basketball program
and the talent of our team,” said director of athletics Edward Aquilone.

at Siena College (2001-2002), St. Bonaventure University (1994-2000) and
Sacred Heart University (1993-94).
