Neltner leaves LSU basketball team
Baton Rouge, LA (Sports Network) – LSU sophomore forward Ross Neltner has
decided to leave the basketball program.
Neltner averaged 2.9 points and 3.1 rebounds in 13.5 minutes per game for the
Tigers this past season. He averaged 7.0 points and 5.5 rebounds in two SEC
“I appreciate what Ross has given to our program,” said LSU head coach John
Brady in a statement. “We wish him nothing but the best and will help him in
anyway we can.”
Neltner played in 51 games during his LSU career.
“I really enjoyed the time I have spent here at LSU,” said Neltner. “Both on
and off the court, coach Brady and his staff have helped me develop into a
better person and player. However, at this point in my career, I feel that it
would be advantageous for me to pursue other opportunities.”
