Auburn’s Douglas to declare for NBA Draft
Auburn, AL (Sports Network) – Auburn guard Toney Douglas completed his
freshman season and feels ready for the next level.
According to the Birmingham News, Douglas will announce Tuesday he will enter
June’s NBA Draft but will not hire an agent, leaving open the possibility of
returning to the Tigers for his sophomore season.
The 6-1, 180-pound Douglas led Auburn in scoring last season, averaging 16.9
points — good enough for fourth in the Southeastern Conference. He tied a
school freshman record with 38 points versus Nicholls State.
Douglas has until June 21 to remove his name from the NBA Draft.
