Lewisburg, PA (Sports Network) – Randy Foye poured in 28 points and grabbed
11 rebounds, as fourth-ranked Villanova never trailed in a 79-60 victory over
Bucknell at the Sojka Pavilion. Allan Ray scored 20 points and Kyle Lowry
added 15, as the four-guard Wildcat offense combined for 72 of the team’s
79 points. Villanova (5-0) shot 50 percent from the floor, while Foye and
Ray made 7-of-16 three-pointers in the victory. The Wildcats didn’t suffer
a letdown after Saturday’s 85-74 victory over then-No.5 Oklahoma. Chris
McNaughton amassed a game-high 29 points for Bucknell (5-1), but
received little help as no other Bison player scored in double-figures.

New York, NY (Sports Network) – Maurice Ager netted 22 points as the 14th-
ranked Michigan State Spartans knocked off the sixth-ranked Boston College
Eagles, 77-70, in the 11th annual Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden.
Paul Davis added 18 points for the Spartans (6-2), who have now won five games
in a row. Drew Neitzel chipped in 13 points in the victory. Jared Dudley led
Boston College (6-1) with 23 points on 7-of-11 shooting from the floor as
the Eagles lost for the first time this season. Craig Smith scored 18
points in defeat.

Providence, RI (Sports Network) – Taurean Green netted 18 points to lead the
10th-ranked Florida Gators past Providence, 87-77, at the Dunkin’ Donuts
Center. Corey Brewer and Al Horford each added 14 points for Florida, which
kept its surprising undefeated streak alive. The Gators matched the best
start in 54 years with a win, improving to 8-0 for only the second time in
school history. Center Joakim Noah chipped in 11 points, eight rebounds and
three blocks in the win. Sharaud Curry poured in a game-high 20 points for
the Friars (3-3), who have lost three straight. Fellow guard Donnie McGrath
scored 17 points, while forward Geoff McDermott had 13 points and six boards.

Cedar Falls, IA (Sports Network) – Eric Coleman poured in 19 points as the
Northern Iowa Panthers upset the 12th-ranked Iowa Hawkeyes, 67-63, in overtime
at the UNI Dome. Ben Jacobson added 16 points and pulled down seven rebounds
for Northern Iowa (5-1), which has won five of its first six games of the
season. Grant Stout chipped in 11 points and nine rebounds to the win. Greg
Brunner scored a game-high 26 points and had 10 rebounds for Iowa (7-2), which
saw its four-game win streak come to a halt. Jeff Horner was the only other
Hawkeye in double-figures with 10 points.

Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) – Shagari Alleyne netted 16 points and added six
rebounds, as the 15th-ranked Kentucky Wildcats defeated the Georgia State
Panthers, 73-46, at Philips Arena. Joe Crawford had 14 points and seven boards
and Ramel Bradley added 12 points, seven rebounds and five assists for the
Wildcats (6-2), who bounced back from Saturday’s 83-79 loss to North Carolina.
Rashad Chase had 19 points and five rebounds to lead the Panthers (2-3), who
have dropped their last two games.

Final Score: Indiana State 72, (18) Indiana 67

Terre Haute, IN (Sports Network) – David Moss scored 19 points, as the Indiana
State Sycamores upset the 18th-ranked Indiana Hoosiers, 72-67, at the Hulman
Center. Tyson Schnitker added 19 points for Indiana State (4-0), while
Gabriel Moore chipped in 13 points. Ben Allen led the Hoosiers (4-2) with 21
points and was 5-of-6 from the three-point line, as Indiana lost for the
first time since falling to top-ranked Duke last week. Robert Vaden netted 12
points in defeat.
