Memphis, TN (Sports Network) – Rodney Carney poured in 19 points to lead
fourth-ranked Memphis to an 83-50 rout of Middle Tennessee at the FedExForum.
Joey Dorsey added 14 points on 7-of-7 shooting, and had nine rebounds and six
blocks for the Tigers (12-2), who won for the ninth time in their last 10
games. Antonio Anderson pitched in 13 points while Robert Dozier had 12 points
and six rebounds for Memphis. Marcus Morrison paced the Blue Raiders (7-5),
who lost for the second time in three games, with 11 points. No other Middle
Tennessee player could manage to score in double figures. Tim Blue added
nine points and five rebounds while Bud Howard had eight points and five
boards.

College Park, MD (Sports Network) – Nik Caner-Medley scored 23 points and
Chris McCray had 16 along with seven rebounds as 14th-ranked Maryland cruised
to a 99-73 victory over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at the Comcast Center. Caner-
Medley knocked down 8-of-13 field goal attempts and D.J. Strawberry added
14 points to help the Terrapins (11-2) record their sixth straight win. Chris
Daniels finished with 18 points and seven rebounds, while Aaron White made
5-of-10 three-point attempts in a 15-point effort for the Islanders
(10-5), who had a four-game win streak halted.

Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) – Maureece Rice scored 14 points and handed
out four assists to lead a balanced scoring attack as 20th-ranked George
Washington downed Temple, 72-60, at the Liacouras Center in both team’s
Atlantic 10 opener. Mike Hall and Danilo Pinnock each scored 12 points for
the Colonials (9-1, 1-0 Atlantic 10), who won their fourth straight game
against Temple. Pops Mensah-Bonsu contributed 12 points and two blocks as
George Washington rebounded with a win after suffering its only loss of the
season last Friday. Mardy Collins netted 19 points with seven rebounds for
the Owls (6-5, 0-1), who lost for the first time at home this season
(4-1). Antywane Robinson scored 13 points with six rebounds in the loss.
Dustin Salisbery scored 11 points as Temple lost for the third time in its
last four games.

the right wing with 15 seconds left in the second overtime to help 22nd-ranked
Pittsburgh escape with a 100-97 win over Notre Dame at the Petersen Events
Center. Aaron Gray poured in 25 points and hauled in 11 rebounds for the
Panthers (12-0,1-0 Big East), who remained undefeated on the season. Guard
Carl Krauser added 21 points before fouling out. Sam Young had 15 points
and 12 rebounds off the bench for Pittsburgh. Chris Quinn tallied a career-
high 37 for the Fighting Irish (9-3, 0-1), who lost for the first time in
eight games. Russell Carter added 16 points while freshman Luke Zeller had 11.
