Gray, No. 24 Oklahoma keep Baylor winless

Waco, TX (Sports Network) – Taj Gray and Terrell Everett each scored 16 points
to lead the 24th-ranked Oklahoma Sooners past the Baylor Bears, 82-52, at the
Ferrell Center.

Gray added seven rebounds while Everett dished out five assists with seven
rebounds for the Sooners (12-4, 3-2 Big 12), who have won their past three

Everett had a solid opening twenty minutes of play with 11 points, four
rebounds and four assists.

The Sooners opened the second half of action with a 8-2 spurt to push their
lead to 45-28. David Godbold contributed five points during the stretch,
including a three-pointer to open Oklahoma’s scoring.

Later in the half, the Sooners ripped off a 9-0 run, capped by a Longar Longar
dunk, to push their lead to 62-37 with about 8 1/2 minutes to go.

Oklahoma continued to dominate even as they unloaded the bench. Late in the
half, the Sooners went on a 12-2 surge for an 80-47 lead with just under two
minutes to play in the game.

Oklahoma improved to 4-2 on the road…The Sooners held a 41-32 advantage on
the glass…Oklahoma hit 15-of-26 from the charity stripe while Baylor was 18-
of-26 from the free throw line…The Bears scored more than 50 points for the
