Florida’s Humphrey injures shoulder
Gainesville, FL (Sports Network) – Florida junior guard Lee Humphrey is
expected to miss some time because of an injured left shoulder.
The Gainesville Sun reported Monday morning Humphrey suffered a separated
shoulder after a bicycle accident over the weekend. Humphrey apparently fell
off of his bike prior to Sunday’s practice.
Humphrey, who is averaging 10.9 points in 20 games this season, will not play
in Tuesday’s game versus Ole Miss and could miss up to three weeks.
Humphrey, in his first season as a full-time starter, currently leads the SEC
in three-point field goal percentage with a 49.6 clip from beyond the arc.
Florida (18-2, 4-2 SEC) ended a two-game losing streak on Sunday with an 81-58
victory over Vanderbilt at the O’Connell Center.
