Washington, DC (Sports Network) – Jeff Green had 22 points and Brandon Bowman
added 15, leading 17th-ranked Georgetown to a 61-58 win over No. 9 Pittsburgh
from the MCI Center. Ashanti Cook had eight points, while Jonathan Wallace and
Roy Hibbert both had seven for the Hoyas (16-4, 7-2 Big East), who have won
six straight. Aaron Gray was a big factor for Pittsburgh in the first
half, but his play dropped off in the second half. Gray led the Panthers
(17-3, 6-3) with 15 points and nine boards.

Washington, DC (Sports Network) – Danilo Pinnock dropped 16 points, grabbed
three rebounds and added four steals as No. 10 George Washington crushed
Richmond, 80-55, in Atlantic 10 Conference action at the Charles E. Smith
Center. Pops Mensah-Bonsu also tallied 16 points on 7-of-8 shooting for the
Colonials (18-1, 8-0 A-10), who won for the 10th consecutive time and are
now just a game away from tying the best start in school history (19-1 in
1953-54). Mike Hall tallied 15 points in the win. Kevin Steenberge paced the
Spiders (11-10, 4-4), who lost their second straight and for the third
time in their last four outings, with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Jermaine
Bucknor recorded 12 points while Gaston Moliva had 10 points and seven boards
in the loss.

Raleigh, NC (Sports Network) – Tony Bethel dropped a game-high 17 points,
grabbed seven rebounds and dished out four assists to lead No. 18 North
Carolina State to a 62-58 win over Maryland at the RBC Center. Cameron
Bennerman added 11 points and four assists for the Wolfpack (18-4, 7-2 ACC),
who won their third straight outing. Ilian Evtimov chipped in 10 points
and six boards in the win. D.J. Strawberry paced the Terrapins (14-7,
4-4), who lost their third straight, with 14 points. James Gist and Mike
Jones both recorded 13 points in the loss while Nik Caner-Medley had 10 points
and 10 boards.

Final Score: Kansas 59, (19) Oklahoma 58

Lawrence, KS (Sports Network) – Brandon Rush scored a game-high 18 points to
lead Kansas from a 16-point deficit for a 59-58 win over 19th-ranked Oklahoma
from Allen Fieldhouse. Julian Wright recorded 14 points and eight rebounds for
the Jayhawks (15-6, 6-2 Big 12), who have won five straight and 12 of their
last 14 games. Mario Chalmers contributed 10 points in the big conference win.
Terrell Everett led the Sooners with 14 points and seven boards. Taj Gray
chipped in 13 points and 12 rebounds for Oklahoma (14-5, 5-3), which had won
five straight before Sunday’s tilt in Lawrence.
