St. John’s guard undergoes surgery
Queens, NY (Sports Network) – St. John’s guard Daryll Hill underwent
arthroscopic surgery on his injured left knee on Monday.
Two weeks ago, Hill was declared out for the season. He had the procedure at
the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.
The St. John’s medical staff expects Hill’s rehab period to take between three
and four months. He is expected to resume basketball activities this summer.
Hill was named a preseason All-Big East selection, and averaged 12.3 points
per game this season. He missed four consecutive games with the knee injury
from December 27 to January 8.
