Petrimoulx suffered a break of the fifth metatarsal in his foot during the
second half of UNLV’s game against New Mexico on Wednesday.
The 6-foot-4 guard had played in 27 games this season with 25 starts and was
averaging 10.1 points and 2.7 rebounds per game. He also leads the team and
was second in the Mountain West Conference with 4.0 assists per game.
“I am very disappointed for Jason,” Runnin’ Rebel head coach Lon Kruger said.
“It is always tough to miss time with an injury, but when it happens during
the stretch run and around conference tournament time it is a big let down.”
