Everhart to take over at Duquesne

Pittsburgh, PA (Sports Network) – Duquesne University has selected Ron
Everhart as its new men’s basketball coach and will formally introduce him at
a press conference on Thursday.

Everhart spent the last five seasons at Northeastern, leading the Huskies to
an 82-68 record. Prior to that, he put up a 92-104 record at McNeese State
over seven seasons.

The Fairmont, West Virginia native replaces Danny Nee, who resigned after a
3-24 season and a 42-102 mark in five seasons at the helm.

The Dukes have now suffered through 12 consecutive losing seasons and 19 such
instances in the last 20 years.
