Elliott returning to GW
Washington, DC (Sports Network) – George Washington point guard Carl Elliott
has withdrawn his name from the NBA Draft and has decided to return to the
Colonials for his senior season.
Elliott was eligible to return to school since he did not hire an agent. He
beat a June 18 deadline to pull out of the draft.
Elliott, who averaged 11.5 points per game last season, is a three-year
starter for the Colonials, leading the team in assists in each of those
campaigns. He averaged 3.9 assists per game last year, while also leading the
Atlantic-10 Conference with a .438 three-point shooting percentage.
Shooting guard Danilo Pinnock has decided to remain in the draft. He topped
the Colonials in scoring last season with 14.5 points per game and steals with
