Duke heads field for College Basketball Experience

Princeton, NJ (Sports Network) – Duke, Marquette, Stanford and Texas Tech have
been chosen as the four host schools for this year’s College Basketball
Experience (CBE) Classic, to be held in November.

Air Force, Akron, Arkansas-Little Rock, Columbia, Detroit, Gardner-Webb,
Georgia Southern, Idaho State, Long Beach State, Maine, UC Davis, and San Jose
State are also in the field.

This event, which used to be called the Guardians Classic, was won by Texas
last year.

Duke will take on Columbia, while Marquette plays Idaho State. Stanford
tangles with San Jose State and Texas Tech goes against Gardner-Webb.

The Regional Rounds of the tournament will be played November 12th-15th with
the winners set to play in the semifinals and final, to be held November 20-21
at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City.
